どうも、けこぜろです。
いよいよ人生初めてのフェス「NEX_FEST」が目前に迫ってきました。
Bring Me The Horizonが主催のこのフェスですが、最近運動をサボりがちなので体力面が心配だったり、持ち物はどうすればいいのか分からなくて不安だったりしますね。
昨日は2ヶ月半ぶりに筋トレをしてみましたが、しっかり今日は筋肉痛になってしまいました。
それでも楽しみな気持ちは変わりませんね。
日々出演アーティストの音楽を聴いて予習しています。
ということで、今回はBring Me The Horizonの『Happy Song』について。
名盤『That's the Spirit』の2曲目として収録されています。

今回の『Happy Song』は明後日の「NEX_FEST」に向けてBring Me The Horizonのライブアルバムを聴いていたところ、ライブバージョンが非常に良かったので紹介しようと思いました。
『Happy Song』はタイトルや歌詞から明るい曲かと思いきや、結構ダークな雰囲気な曲となっています。
僕の乏しい英語力では、曲を聴いただけではあまり歌詞とかよく分かっていませんでしたが、今回改めて調べてみたところようやくこの歌の意味を知ることができました。
この楽曲の暗めな雰囲気と歌詞がマッチしていて中々にいいですね。
ちゃんと好きになれた気がします。
また、歌詞の中ではアルバムタイトルである『That's the Spirit』と歌われます。
以前も触れましたが、歌詞の中にアルバムタイトルが登場する楽曲は大好きでして、例えばアルバム『amo』は『mother tongue』、『Sempiternal』では『Shadow Moses』などがそうですね。
どれも大好きです。

初めは暗い曲で歌詞もよくわかりませんでしたが、ちゃんと歌詞を調べて聴くといい曲であることがよく分かりました。
