今回は2002年のBustedのアルバム『Busted』より、『Everything I Knew』について。

『Everything I Knew』はアルバム『Busted』の11曲目ですが、配信されているアルバムには残念ながら収録されていない曲です。
どちらかというとマイナーな感じの曲ですが、雰囲気が非常に好きでお気に入りの曲でした。
2023年には『Everything I Knew 2.0』として20周年を記念してリメイクされ、こちらはDashboard Confessionalとのコラボ曲となりました。
昔好きだった曲がリメイクされるのは本当に嬉しいですね。
特にこの『Everything I Knew』なんてアルバムの中でもあまり目立たない感じの曲で、今となっては思い出の片隅にひっそりとしまっておくような印象を抱く楽曲でもありましたからね。
それが今もなお歌ってくれるのは嬉しい限りです。
まとめ
こんな感じで、短いですがBustedの『Everything I Knew』の紹介でした。
比較的ポップに歌ってはいるものの、歌詞の内容はしっかりとした失恋の歌です。
10代の頃に聴いていた印象そのままにリメイクしてくれたのは嬉しいですし、やっぱり今でもなお好きな曲ではありますね。
