――Please introduce yourself.

I am maoh, the website designer and coder!

I usually work as a front-end developer. I am often in charge of everything from design to implementation. I used to be a graphic designer, but I became attracted to the world of the web and developed this skill set as I moved around.

――What was the inspiration or concept behind the creation of the xAlice website?

What was important to me was the impression I had when I first saw the main visual. I felt a thrill when I saw the cute girl staring at me, and I created this site in the hope that visitors would feel that same thrill. Cute, pure, and a little bit poisonous...that is the concept!

――What points or parts of the design did you put particular emphasis on?

The key points we were particular about were the floating feeling of falling down a rabbit hole and the gallery section. We were allowed to design the site freely, and I think we were able to create a very playful site.

――What tools, techniques and frameworks did you use in the production process?

I use ”Figma” for the design process (Photoshop for image editing, etc.) and ”React” and ”Next.js” for coding. This is a combination with which I am very familiar.

――What considerations have you made regarding responsive design and accessibility?

I started the design from the way it looks on a PC, so it was a bit difficult to change to the SP screen size without losing that impression. As for accessibility, we took into account the basics, but did not take specialized measures, so we would like to pursue a site that is easy to use for more people in the future!

――What would you like to say to users visiting the xAlice website?

We hope this website will be an opportunity for you and xAlice to have a wonderful encounter.

――Thank you so much.
We hope you all enjoy the "playfulness" that can be found the moment you scroll through the xAlice website!
