Message from Aotakana, master of emoji.
The cute emojis that populate xAlice's Discord every day are surely the "flowers" that enliven the community. We spoke with Aotakana, the creator of these emojis, to find out more.

Illustrator. She draws landscapes and people.
She has exhibited her works at events and exhibitions in Japan and abroad. As a "Yamakoshi Digital Villager" she is involved in the creation of Yamakoshi village art, and active as an emoji/stamp creator on Discord.
――Please introduce yourself to us.
My name is Aotakana, I am an illustrator.
This time, I was in charge of creating emojis for the xAlice discord server.
I usually create animations of deformed characters and character illustrations with backgrounds.
――How did you come to work with xAlice?
The project manager, pnizo, approached me to see if I would be interested in working on emoji production.
I was very happy to be able to produce emojis of characters designed by Chon-san, and to have a new job in emoji production, which I love.
――It's a cute! How long did it take you to finish it?
Thank you.
I enjoyed creating 21 different emojis for a month while doing other work.
Depending on the content, each animated emojis takes approximately 3 to 10 hours to produce.
――What are the particular points of your works and what do you want people to pay attention to?
This time, while referring to emojis in MEGAMI discord server and I had created in the past, I created that did not spoil the atmosphere of Alice-chan designed by Chon-san.
We took the time to create the "dance" and "party" emojis with hair and clothes swaying, so we hope you will use them.
――What are your thoughts on xAlice and what is your message to those who are interested in this project?
I had a look at the xAlice generative art before creating the emojis, and they were all filled with various "kawaii" elements, which combined with the creator Chon'-sans painting style, made them very attractive.
At this point, several characters have been revealed as sneak-peaks, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing what kind of characters will appear and how they will move in the world of xAlice.
