【RS-PK】The Fourth Double Rainbow Cup Invitation

Thank you for reading this article.

This article is about the 4rd Double Rainbow Cup (W-Rainbow Cup), an offline tournament under EX(a.k.a ADV-PCG in Japan) regulations.
People who want to join the tournament should read entire of this article.

The last tournament was held over two days from June 29th to 30th, 2024, and it was a great success with 89 people(!) from all over WORLD competing for the championship!

The tournament has been organized by Mr. Little River, but from this year I will be the organizer. He said "If I continuing organizer, I cannot perform well as a player."
I will carry on his spirits and do my best to provide the best possible performance!

You can also search for #W虹杯 on X (Twitter) or note to see how we enjoyed on the past two tournaments.
Also this year, please feel free to post using the same hashtag or #DoubleRainbowCup , even from the phase of thinking about your deck!

🌈Regulation

RS~PK and promotional cards released at the same time.(You can play Japanese exclusive cards)
Please note the following points.
・Since there are many expensive cards, we allow the use of proxies. (Please make a clear color copy if possible.)
・English card is permitted.
・Cards that indicate that they cannot be used in official tournaments are prohibited.
・Promotional cards such as Victory Ring that can only be used by the winners of the Japanese official tournament will be available by everyone.

🌈Schedule

DAY1 Saturday, July 5, 2025: Swiss draw round (BO1 of 40 minutes) 7 matches
*Even if there is an undefeated winner, the number of matches will be fixed at 7 so that you can enjoy as many matches as possible.
DAY2 Sunday, July 6, 2025: Tournament based on Swiss draw TOP1632 (BO3 of 80 minutes) In the tournament, it will be possible to change the deck used from the Swiss round, and everyone's deck list will be published after each day.
Considering the participants from far away, we are considering starting the Swiss Draw in the afternoon and the tournament in the morning. We are also considering an EX GLC tournament as a side event on DAY2, so you are also welcome to participate only on DAY2!

🌈Capacity

We will limit the number of participants to 110.
The reason is that we expect more participants than last year (89 people), and it is difficult to find a venue that can accommodate more than 110 participants and meets the other selection criteria. We have increased the capacity by 20 people from last year, so we don't think it will be overcrowded... but if it is full, we would like to make it a assignment for next year or later.

We have quickly reached capacity, so we will increase the capacity.
Details will be announced on Discord.
 Limit is up to 180.

🌈Location

We plan to select the location in Tokyo based on the number of participants at the venue. Once a venue has been decided, we will notify you on the Discord listed below.

🌈Prizes

Playmat with tournament banner illustration, AND MORE!
We are also planning to give away gorgeous prizes to the GLC winners, so please take a look at the decks!

🌈Entry

The deadline is June 1st (Sunday) for selecting the venue according to the number of participants. If you would like to participate, please enter from Tonamel at the URL below. After that, you can join the tournament server from the Discord URL posted on Tonamel, so please feel free to interact with other participants. Additionally, we plan to announce detailed rules and other information on Discord for this tournament, so all participants must create a Discord account and access our server.

🌈Participation Requirement

We are planning to assign a few judges who can speak English to operate the game, but in order to be able to play smoothly, please be sure to memorize the text of the frequently used cards.

🌈Management members

Revenir, Little River, Kanten, Tila, Chazo, and Que.

This year as well, we will hold the event at a time when the standard format tournaments have calmed down. We hope to enjoy the state-of-the-art EX tournament with the world's strongest players, so standard players are also welcome to participate!
I'd like to see you guys in Tokyo :)
