今日は、英語日記ポッドキャストの構成についての振り返り　をお話しています。

今日の英語日記

G'day, how's it going everyone? It's Monday, February 27th today. I hope you're all doing well!

I wanted to share with you all about my recent changes in my podcast. 
I've been alternating between English and Japanese in my journaling and it's been working quite well for me. Previously, I would only speak in English during the journaling part and explain three key expressions using a mix of Japanese and English.

However, I found that it could be confusing as the expressions weren't visible even though some of the expressions are difficult to spell out, and the main journal part was left behind as I didn't explain it well enough.
Last week, I listened to my podcast without any stress because the two languages took turns equally. So I've decided to change the format of what I share depending on the platform.

 For the podcast, I'll speak in both English and Japanese for the main journal part and keep the introduction and ending only in Japanese. As for the transcription on the Note platform, I'll keep the journaling and main journaling only in English and provide explanations for three key expressions in Japanese.

I might change the format again in the future, but for now, I'll keep posting in this way. Thanks for listening!

Alternating

訳：交互にする　

I've been alternating between English and Japanese in my journaling
英語日記の部分を英語・日本語と交互に話すようにしています

Alter (動詞）部分的に変更する　っていう意味が派生した感じですねぇ
Alternateは形容詞なんですって。

まだまだ知らない単語ばっかりだなぁ

Visible

訳：目に見える　可視の

the expressions weren't visible even though some of the expressions are difficult to spell out
表現が（ポッドキャストだと）見えないんですよね。スペルが難しいものもあるのに

Visible ってパッと出てきそうで出てこないですよねぇ。

最近話題の可視化するとかで使えそうですねぇ
（最近本当に話題なのかは微妙）

Take turns

訳：順番にやる

I listened to my podcast without any stress because the two languages took turns equally.
自分のポッドキャストストレスなく聞けました。二つの言語が順番に出てくるので

これは、私が大好きなオーストラリアのアニメーション　Blueyで覚えたんですよ。

順番守らないとダメだよーって子供にいう時にこんな感じで言ってました。

“if you do not take turns with people, people won’t take turns with you.”
順番守らないと、自分にも順番回ってこなくなるよ？

子供に向けた英語って、アニメを見ているとすごーく勉強になります。

その中でもBlueyは本当におすすめ。

今アメリカでも流行ってるらしいと聞きました。

日本でも流行らせたい。Bluey。（個人の願望）

今日のひとこと

はい。ということでですね、

先週からポッドキャストで、
英語日記の部分を英語日本語と交互に話していたんですけど
簡単に言うとこれを続けることにしましたというご報告ですね。

何でかっていうとやっぱり「見ないとわかりづらいもの」を「聞いてるだけでわかるようにする」っていうのは、むずかしいなと。

要はですね、英語日記のところ英語だけバーって話してると、自分でもなんの話だったかなぁぱって出てこないんですよね。（え、記憶力の問題？）

だけど、英語・日本語って聞いてると
例えば　ながら聞きをしてても、付いていける感じがするのでこっちの方がいいんじゃないかなって思うようになりました。

はい。ということでまだ試行錯誤だらけなんですけど、

とりあえずはですね、今のフォーマットでやっていきたいと思います。

もし何かこうしたらいいんじゃないのなんていうアドバイスがございましたら、
ぜひぜひ教えてくださったら嬉しいです。
