Philosophy of Reality 2

Why does the death of a friend hurt more than the death of million people?
It doesn't matter if those deaths occur in Africa, Asia, America or Europe.
That's because the death of a "material friend" is part of our reality.
And the death of a million people is just "information" from virtual reality.

Although it's ambiguous, only reality really exists.
All "artificial perceptions" can be omitted from the list.
Humans "can use" technology without knowing anything about science.
Virtual reality is necessary for our life but not "essential" for our existence.

Scientists assume that insects and animals do not "think".
But unlike humans, they know that "poison" is not something to drink.
Animals "learn" that humans can't be trusted if they hurt them multiple times.
But humans are so stupid that continue to trust even they get hurt 100 times.

Instinct is the "force" that enable us to perceive and live in reality.
That's why animals are fine without the need of virtual reality.
Virtual reality is what generates human madness.
And unverifiable information can fill someone with sadness.

Only humans can hate someone they've never met.
Only humans can imagine that they'll go extinct hit by a comet.
Only humans can believe nonsense just by being told.
Only humans can envision that they'll enjoy life when grow old.
Only humans can value the past and future more than the present.
And only humans can ignore the tragedies they can prevent.
