Masa: Hello, can I speak with Lisa, please?
Lisa: Speaking. Who is this?
Masa: This is Masa. Happy New Year, Lisa!
Lisa: Oh Masa, happy New Year to you, too! How are you? Masa: Excellent ! What about you?
Lisa : I’m doing fantastic . Wow, it’s great to hear from you. What time is it there? Masa : It’s 9:30 a.m. It’s 7:30 in the evening your time , right?
Lisa : Actually it’s half past 6 . You know, Daylight Saving Time ends in November. Masa : Oh, I see. Are you busy now?
Lisa : No, not at all. Just watching TV. So, do you still live in Tokyo?
Masa : Actually, no. I don’t live there anymore . I moved to Chiba, near the airport. I have a new job.
Lisa : I see. What do you do now?
Masa : I work for an IT company. I’m in sales.
Lisa : Cool! What do you think about your new job?
Masa : I like it so far . To be honest , it’s a bit challenging but people are friendly and it’s an interesting job.
Lisa : That’s great!
Masa : How about you? What have you been up to lately ?
Lisa : Well, I got a promotion !
Masa : Wow! Congratulations ! Wait, what was your job? I’m so sorry. I have the memory of a goldfish.
Lisa : Haha! It’s ok! I became a project manager at TYE Magazine.
Masa : That’s fantastic! I’m really happy for you!
