Fully Armed as an Interpreter

👷 In the last few days I've been heavily equipped - with a helmet, a safety vest, goggles, safety shoes and … a #tour #guide #system .

Fully armed, I took part in a tour of a heavy industry plant to interpret for #Japanese visitors. I also had to use earplugs in the production hall. With such a noise level, the use of a microphone and transceiver makes a lot of sense.
👂 This spared my voice and my customer gets more precise information.
 
The tour guide system was kind of an Easter gift from an older colleague. I'm glad I kept my promise back then.
"Sure I use them. I won't leave them in the closet for long once business is back on track."
Now the time has come. ✈
