First In-Person Assignment with Guests from Japan
Finally! Interpreting for newly arrived guests from Japan! Yesterday, I travelled to a nearby city to take care of a face-to-face interpreting assignment.
While Japanese travelling restrictions are not lifted altogether, businessmen are cautiously yet slowly coming again to Germany.
To my great pleasure, I have a few bookings for in-person meetings also for the coming months. More than two years have passed since I was hired for such “live” interpreting (other than trade fairs). Indeed a long time!
So business travel is slowly picking up again and I would like share the resulting optimism with the Community!
