Abstract
The researchers from the University of Oxford found out eating 50 grams of processed meat could raise your risk of ischemic heart disease(IHD) by 18% by reviewing over 1.4 million people from 13 published studies. They also found that just 50 grams per day of unprocessed red meat increased the risk of IHD by 9%.
However, not all meat was associated with a higher risk of heart disease. There was no obvious link seen between eating poultry.
The researchers think that the results may be because of the high levels of saturated fat in red meat, and the high content of salt in processed meat.

What are your thoughts on the findings of this study?
I think raising IHD risk due to eating processed meat caused by high levels of salt in property as mentioned in the article.

Processed meats are made for long lasting. Ingredients salted are less water and dry. For that, such ingredients are long lasting.
Such properties are usually tasty, and I think it is a problem that it is hard to notice eating high salt when they eat processed meat.
On the other hand, I don’t think quitting eating meat connects our health. I think moderation is important when we eat or refuse something even if it is good or bad for you.
