Abstract
The CEO Vishal Garg of New York-based mortgage and home insurance company Better one-sidedly explained to dismiss for about 15% his employees over Zoom and its video has been shared on YouTube. The CEO said this time laid off is necessary for the company to survive. In addition, he said that “If you’re on this call, you are part of the unlucky group being laid off” and their employment was ending immediately. On the other hand, Better. com CFO later said that the company only laid off 9% of employees.
Garg has been in the news before too with his evil behavior toward his employees.

What are your thoughts on Vishal Garg firing 900 employees over Zoom?

I think being told over a one-way Zoom is one of the worst ways.
Although I think there are sometimes to lay employees off to maintain companies, I think employers should have respect for their employees. Because even if they pay the employees, they can't do business without labor.
Also, I really think people who have money or social status should have humility. Because such success wouldn't be possible by only their efforts.
