Day9
It was the day to go to London! I really enjoyed travelling there. First, we took on a bus at 7:45. It was about 2 hours from school to London. We went to visit city of Westminster first. We saw many beautiful places such as loyal palace, “Big Ben” , and Westminster temple. We also many London buses and black cabs. They were so cute. Then, we had a free time at Covent Garden. There were big shop and market. It was nice place to buy souvenirs, but I couldn’t stay there because I was in ”London”!!! We had an hour and half free time, so I went to King’s Cross station with my friend. It was difficult to use tube. It was my first time to use underground. I haven’t my credit card, so I couldn’t buy paper train ticket at station of Covent Garden. We walked to next station, Holborn. I could buy train ticket there, so we took train from there, but I surprised because train fee was very expensive. It was 6.7 pounds! The train was very small and nice. I could take a picture of it so much. After we arrived at King’s Cross, we went to LNER’s station. We didn’t know how we can buy admission tickets to go inside. I asked to station staff, then he let us get in, so I took many pictures of many cool trains. It was so much fun! We also went to picture spot of Harry Potter. There is a place we can take pictures like going inside to 9 and 3 divided 4 track, but it was so crowded. I thought it would be crowded, but I didn’t think the place was so much crowded, so we retired to take pictures there, and we went to Harry Potter’s shop. There were so many nice goods. I wanted to buy a lot, but I didn’t have much money, so I bought a post card only, but I think the train trip is priceless. We went back to Covent Garden hurry because we didn’t have much time to go around more. We had a time bit after we went back, so I bought a pencil sharpener of Big Ben. After that, we went to the British museum. We saw many nice exhibits there. There were also very valuable and so big exhibits too. After we enjoyed watching them, we went to souvenir shop. There were many interesting sweets, key holder, book and so on. I had only 6 pounds, so I only bought Peter rabbit dish. It was very cute! After that, we got on the train, and went back to Stroud. The road wasn’t crowded, so we could arrive school at before 19:30.
