Day11

We had a presentation today, so we prepared for it what to talk about first. I decided to talk about differences between Europe hard water and Japanese soft water. Everyone made a nice speech, but I could do well too. We couldn’t read the script, but it wasn’t so difficult.
After that, we wrote a letter of appreciation for home stay family. We also had a graduation ceremony with English teachers. We got a nice certification and score seat. My score was very good, so I was surprised. We ate lunch and played football with all boys. That was really fun.
We prepared for a farewell party for 3 hours. Teacher told us to is there anyone who want to be a MC and speech student. I wanted to make a speech but, I didn’t have my courage to raise hand. But after that, I decided my mind, and talked to teachers that I want to have a speech. And I prepared for it. My teacher helped me to improve my writing. I practiced alone in a classroom and I also practiced at outside. I practiced a lot to make a nice speech.
We had a lot of fun at our party. We enjoyed seeing performance of Japanese students. There were 3 groups of performers, and I was in the last performance group. We danced of Japanese “So-ran bushi”. It’s a famous Japanese dance, and I could enjoy dancing on the stage. Many audiences danced with us at their seats. It was so fantastic. There were also Talent competitions, and 3 groups entered. They played the guitar and sang a song of Let It Be, did Ikebana, and played piano of Disney medley. All of them were great, but the Piano group got first prize. After that, we had a photo competition. All of students joined that, but the students who can get the prize is only two. We couldn’t get a prize, but it was interesting too. After that, it was my turn to make a speech. I was bit nervous, but I decided to enjoy it. I talked about thanks to many people in front of lots of people. It was really interesting. I enjoyed it so much. I thought it was really good to decide to join.
After that, my Japanese teacher sang a song of Sakura. He is good at singing, so we could enjoy it.
There was a fish and chips party after that. It was not so big party, but it was fun. All of student who attended bought their fish and chips, but I and my sister didn’t bought because we knew the party when we were enjoying farewell party. The fish and chips were too much for everyone, so we helped them to finish it, so we could enjoy fish and chips for free! However, we became full just only eating snacks and fish and chips, so it was not so good for health. We played tag with all of students there. It was so much fun, but we left there at 8:30, so we couldn’t eat dinner mother cooked. I felt so tired today…
