日記118 : Movie Schedule

Sometimes, when I go to see a movie that isn’t very popular, I’m surprised by the inconvenience because the movie schedule isn’t finalized until two or three days before. You won’t even know if the movie will be playing until the day you go to the cinema. I understand that the movie schedule changes based on its popularity because cinemas want to show films that make more money. However, it’s very troubling when I plan to watch a movie on a specific day in the future, but I don’t know where or what time to go, or even if it will be shown during the day or night. Sometimes, I plan to have dinner or lunch on the day I’m going to see a movie, but it’s difficult to make reservations in advance because I don’t know where and when I will be on that day.

I wish we could get information about the screening schedule at least a week in advance, including which theaters will show the movie and for how long.
