【怪談】階段落ち

私、階段を転げ落ちているの。

止まらない。
止められない。

その痛いの痛くないの。

もう腕も脚もグシャグシャ。
肋骨だって鎖骨だって粉々よ。

すでに頭蓋骨も割れているはずだわ。

でも、なぜ失神しないのかしら。

階段を転げ落ちながら考えているけど　
やはり、なかなか考えがまとまらない。

とにかく、止まらなければダメだわ。
途中に踊り場でもあればいいのに。

いつまで落ちでも階段が続く。
あんまり痛くて、わけがわからなくなってきた。

私は誰？　
ここはどこ？　

ええと、私は主婦で、ここはデパートで　
買い物をしていて、上の階へ行こうとして････　

でも、エレベーターが満員だったから　
しかたなくエスカレーターに乗って････
　

Falling Stairs

I'm rolling down the stairs.

I will not stop.
I can't stop.

That tremendous pain.

My arms and legs have been destroyed.
Even my ribs and clavicles shatter.

My skull must already be cracked.

But why am I not fainting?

I'm thinking while rolling down the stairs,
but after all I can't quite think about it.

Anyway, if I don't stop, it's useless.
I wish it was a landing on the way.

Even if I fall, the stairs will continue.
It was so painful that I had no idea.

Where am I?

Well, I'm a housewife, this is a department store,
shopping, trying to go upstairs...

But because the elevator was full,
I couldn't help getting on the escalator...
