Priscilla & Reid's Autumn DLC Selection(RPG Maker MZ&MV)

Priscilla: Hey there, Reid! Are you working on your game development today?

Reid: Well, hello, Priscilla. Absolutely! But I'm thinking my game could use a bit more…something.

Priscilla: You're in luck because I've got a selection of DLC that can add some spice to your game. I've handpicked some with an autumn theme.
I hope these recommendations inspire you!

Reid: I'm excited to hear about them! So, what kind of DLCs do you have?

Season of the Arts!

Priscilla:First up, let's explore the theme of "Art"

Ann - Art School Tilesets

Priscilla:Check out the "Ann - Art School Tilesets," which bring the atmosphere of an art school to your game.

Reid : The versatility of this tileset is incredible; it works for everything from horror games to everyday settings.

Cozy Cottage Pack

Priscilla:Then we have the "Cozy Cottage Pack." This delightful pack includes character art, nature elements, and backgrounds, all centered around a wooden theme.
It even comes with custom window skins inspired by woodwork.
The cozy vibes and charming colors are an excellent match for the spring and autumn seasons!

Reid : You're so right. Tilesets can instantly set the mood for your game, and they're a real lifesaver because crafting them from scratch can be a handful.

Priscilla:Exactly! Tilesets are a game-changer for setting the atmosphere in your game.
And speaking of enhancing the artistic vibes, I recommend "Ben Carter - Harmonic Realms."

Ben Carter - Harmonic Realms

Priscilla:This orchestral BGM features a blend of instruments like violins, cellos, flutes, trumpets, and pianos.

Reid : It's the perfect choice for creating a mystical or solemn ambiance!

Season of Food!

Priscilla: Let's move on to the theme of "Food"! Autumn is all about scrumptious food, right?
Reid : Absolutely!

Food Icon Set

Priscilla: The "Food Icon Set" is packed with food and cooking graphics.
It even includes dish-sized food assets that you can place on the floor like dropped items.

Food and Kitchenware Hard Pack

Priscilla: The "Food and Kitchenware Hard Pack" adds a fantastic touch to scenes where characters are savoring a meal or when you're simulating a restaurant setting!

Reid : Meal scenes can provide players with an authentic, immersive experience!

Meal Time Tileset - Fantasy Edition
Meal Time Tileset - Modern Edition

Priscilla: But that's not all; the "Meal Time Tileset - Fantasy Edition" and "Meal Time Tileset - Modern Edition" offer intricate representations of fantasy and modern cuisine. These sets are perfect for scenes where your characters are indulging in delectable dishes.

Reid : Every detail is meticulously crafted! It's a visual treat, and I can't help but get hungry just looking at it.

HALLOWEEN!

Priscilla: Now, let's get into the "Halloween" spirit! It's the perfect season for monsters and spooky tilesets, right?

NEONPIXEL ‐ Mega Spooky set

Priscilla: "NEONPIXEL ‐ Mega Spooky set" is a collection of multiple packs such as the Witchcraft pack, Monster Island Pack, and the Alien Bio Pack.
You can even use it to create spine-chilling horror games.

Reid : Looks spooky indeed!

Haunted Residences Assets

Priscilla: And here's another gem: the "Haunted Residences Assets." It's perfect for creating settings of abandoned and ruined mansions, adding to the atmosphere of horror games. This asset pack even includes character sets, making it a must-have!

Priscilla: And when we talk about Halloween, we think of formidable enemies. Here are two recommended packs:

Odyssey of Fantasy enemy pack

Priscilla: This pack contains over 45 different types of enemies, including goblins, orcs, dragons, and more!

Otani Pixel Fantasy Enemy Pack Vol.1

Reid: Cool! This pack includes various enemies from skeleton to succubus and from goblin to golem! Both pack's quality are amazing.

Priscilla: For that eerie spooky world, consider this music DLC too.
After all, background music is a game-changer, right?

Magnafiend Games - Sound of Dread

Priscilla: "Magnafiend Games - Sound of Dread" boasts eerie piano melodies and immersive ambient sounds that will send shivers down your spine!

Reid: Music is definitely important in game developing, especially spooky scenes, in my opinion.

Priscilla: And now, finally I’d like to introduce a handy tool DLC.

Database Cleanup Tool

Priscilla: It's called the "Database Cleanup Tool," which allows you to delete, add, or rearrange data IDs (order) for variables, switches, items, and more.
The magic happens as it automatically updates variables and switches set in events, making it a breeze to change those IDs. This is something that was a bit tricky to manage with the traditional editor.

Reid: There sure are lots of DLCs, and it's so fun to handpick those that match the season and game genre perfectly.

Priscilla: Absolutely, Reid! DLC is like a trusty companion that can make game development so much more exciting.

There are fantastic DLCs that we couldn’t cover today, but you can conveniently browse the DLC list here:
