『友人との距離感』英語韓国語日記2024/11/10

An old friend who lives in London returned to Japan for a short visit, so we were finally able to sit down and talk after a long time. I don't know when we'll meet again, but I’m looking forward to cherishing this encounter until then. I realize there are friends I haven’t seen in 10, 15, or even 20 years. Some I still keep in touch with, while others I rarely hear from, though they occasionally come to mind. I actually enjoy that bit of distance—it’s nice knowing they’re there in some corner of my thoughts.

오랜 친구가 런던에서 잠시 귀국해서 오랜만에 천천히 이야기할 수 있었습니다. 다음에 언제 다시 만날지 모르겠지만, 이 만남을 따뜻하게 기억하며 기다리고 있습니다. 생각해보면 10년, 15년, 20년 동안 만나지 않은 친구들도 있네요. 그중에는 연락을 주고받는 친구도 있고, 거의 연락은 안 하지만 가끔 머릿속 어딘가에서 떠오르는 그런 거리감이 저는 좋습니다.
