TIFFティーンズ映画教室2022【3日目／赤チーム】【Day3/Team Red】

3日目
3日目は、朝みんなの前で現状報告をするところからスタート！みんなの前で発表することでこれから何をするのか、確認できてスッキリします。
その後は早速撮影に向かいました。昨日リハーサルをした地下の教室でのシーンです。大きくは昨日決めたアングル、照明のプランですが、細かな演出がみんなから入ります。俳優2人も調整を繰り返しました。そのあとはみんなで撮影したショットのチェック。無事に午前中に撮りたいカットは撮ることができました！
地下での撮影を終えて午後は今回初の野外ロケーションへ！場所は神田明神。ロケーションハンティングも兼ねていたので撮影に最適な場所を探しながら撮影していきました。まずは夏を感じさせる音を録るところから。風で揺れる木々の音を録るためにマイクを木に向けますが、近くの水の音や参拝者の音が気になってなかなかうまくいかない…それでも試行錯誤しながら環境音を収録していきました。 その後も神田明神で仲良し2人組が別れるという重要なシーンの撮影です。赤チームはマイペースにゆっくりと、どういうシーンにしようか、どんなアングルで撮影しようか、自分たちで探りながら撮影を進めていくことができました。
赤チームの撮影スタイルは、出演する2人以外は誰がどの役割をするのか決まっていません。みんなが撮影したり、録音したり、ケーブルを持ったりと、順番に行っていきます。
その後、アーツ千代田3331に戻って撮影素材の確認。
午前中撮影した映像を簡単に編集でつなげてみました。編集作業も自分達でソフトを触って編集していきます。上手く繋がったところもあったのですが、ここでトラブルが。
午前中に地下で撮影した映像をつないでみたら1か所だけつなぎが上手くいかない…。
どうやって編集しようか考えたのですが、みんなが出した答えは「1カットだけ追加撮影をする」！
急いで衣装を着替えて、地下に行って、できる撮影の仕方を考えて、時間ギリギリに撮影をすることができました！すぐに編集で繋げてみると前後の素材とバッチリ合って一安心。
今回のワークショップも今日で折り返し地点まできました。撮影と編集を繰り返しながら一歩ずつ映画に近づいています！

Day 3.
The morning of day three started with a status report! By presenting in front of everyone, we can confirm what we are going to do and feel refreshed.
After that, we immediately went to filming. The scene is in the basement classroom where we rehearsed yesterday. We have decided angles and lighting plan yesterday, so we worked out detailed directions with everyone and two actors adjusted again and again. Afterwards, we checked the footage we had just taken together. We successfully got the shots we wanted during the morning!
After the underground shoot, we went to our first outdoor location in the afternoon! It was also a location scouting, so we looked for the best locations while filming. We started by recording sounds of summer. We pointed a microphone at trees to record the sound of trees swaying in the wind, but it was difficult to get it right because of sounds of water and worshippers...
Nevertheless, we recorded environmental sounds through trial and error.
After that, we continued filming an important scene that two good friends said goodbye to each other at Kanda Myoujin. The red team took our own pace and went slowly, exploring on our own what kind of scene we wanted to shoot and what angles we wanted to shoot it from.
The red team's style of filming does not determine who plays which role, except for the two people who appear in the film. Everyone takes turns filming, recording, holding cables, etc.
Afterwards, the team returned to 3331 Arts Chiyoda to check waht we filmed. We briefly edited and combined the footage we shot in the morning by using software ourselves. Some of the footage was combined well, but there was a problem. When we tried to combine footage of the basement in the morning, it didn't combine smoothly... We thought about how to edit it, but we found out that the best way is to shoot one additional shot! We quickly changed to costumes, went underground, figured out a way to shoot what we could, and managed to get the shot just in time! We immediately combined them together we were all relieved to see that it worked perfectly to combine the material together.
Today we have reached the turnaround point in this workshop. We're getting closer to the final piece step by step, repeating filming and editing process! (Souchan)
