Reels on Instagram and TikTok had me hooked, and before I knew it, it was 2 in the morning. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this experience. Last night, I felt the terrifying power of entertainment.

The world is overwhelmingly filled with talk of AI. Personally, even on X, there's a lot of tweets about Generative AI. Although the Luddite movement that occurred during the 19th-century industrial revolution hasn't happened, the phrase "AI taking away existing jobs" is still commonly heard today. What will happen in the AI era? According to reliable sources, it seems that what humans will be left with is "entertainment". And, entertainment that makes such boredom enjoyable becomes essential. In other words, most jobs will be taken over by AI, and entertainment will become a more crucial tool for killing time than it is today. People will move away from dull things, and uninteresting matters will decline and disappear. In such a scenario, incorporating entertainment elements into everything becomes even more necessary than ever before. It might not be too much to say that things that are not entertaining could be gone.
