The interview

Thank you so much for praying for us!

A local cable TV station came to interview us! They filmed Aquila Church and asked us about our vision, why we moved here and started church planting. At least we were able to talk about our life story with God twice to the interviewer!

After the interview, he joined our dinner table and spent a lot of time with the people who came to Aquila Church, and I was happy to hear he said as he left, "At first, I was wary because I was coming with religious people, but my image changed in a good way, and I may come again on a whim. We are happy to hear that.
They are currently editing what they have shot, so please pray that the film will convey the gospel well!

Prophetic Painting

One of the member gave us a prophetic painting for us and the church!

Two days before she painted this picture, I told her that I was hoping that Aquila Church could protect the seed of the gospel from the "birds" that are taking it away. She painted it in two days and bring it to our church!
This painting will always remind us of our important role!

And I really appreciate that she is creating a culture within the church to express through art without fear!

School Cancellation

We had planned to hold a ministry school this winter, but unfortunately, we have decided not to do so. For various reasons, Jonathan and Carla's family will not be able to come to Japan. This is something that they and we have agreed to leave to God's plan.
However! Jonathan and Carla love Japan, and even if they can't visit us this time, they are already praying and thinking about what to do next. We are excited to learn more about their plans for next year and beyond! We are so grateful to have been given such wonderful ministry partners!

Collaboration!

Thank you so much for praying for this collaboration with Patisserie Plansoleil!

We were so grateful for the many people who came to the event, including neighbors from our former home and friends of friends!

I was so impressed that the owner even prepared flowers for us that we were at a loss for words!

The cake shop is very busy at Christmas time and both the owner and his wife really can't really can't have day off, so please pray for them!
