Tak & Chee Newsletter! Vol. 7 EN
We appreciate your constant support and prayers!
Once the long freezing winter was over, many people came to visit our new place. How thankful we were that they helped us plant seeds and with other works to do in our farmland! We were also busy helping my father-in-law with his electrician jobs. And before we know it, it’s another rainy season here.
We happily began farming, and yet we’ve been finding it very challenging to restore our farmland that had been abandoned for a long period of time. We have been working on multiple things at the same time and have been unable to focus just on farming, so it’s been kind of frustrating… We feel like everything has been only half-way done…
But here is some great news about what God has done for us!
Our Website
We put together our new website. There you can find our visions, mission statement, core values, and other information:

Details on our future church gatherings will soon be updated. We are still going through some assessments and also working on its English translation. Hopefully we’ll be able to let many people know more about our new church through this website as well as other social media platforms. Please take a look at them if you’re interested:

Many Visitors
It’s been such a blessing for us to have people over to our new place one visitor after another. They all showed some interest in what we do and came to visit us from afar! Even while I’m writing this newsletter, a guest is staying with us in our place!! Over 50 people have visited us already for the last couple of months.
Each person had different reasons to visit us, and we were blessed every single time. The good thing is that many of those Christian visitors were not hesitant to meet our new friends here in Nagano and in the most natural way possible they shared the gospel and their testimonies with them! It often left us thinking, “Wait, are they here for a mission trip or what?!?!” LOL We call our new place “Aquila House” and are hoping God will continue to use this place for His purposes.
Texas Team
We happily announce that a team from Texas will be with us from July 15th to 24th. We are super excited to see how God will move in and through them!
We are currently planning to have casual gatherings like inviting our friends here to our place for meals, opening our cafe in an up-coming local fair, and going to help our farmer friends on their farm, etc, etc… We pray that God will be in the midst of all we do, and many people will experience His love through us.
Pastor Rob from Shinshu Community Church has willingly offered us their church building to use for our pop-up cafe on Saturday, July 22nd. We do hope this will open a door of opportunity for us and the members of Shinshu Community Church to connect with more locals in the community. Thank you, Pastor Rob and the church members!
As we state on our new website, it’s one of our core values to build trust in a good partnership with local churches and help each other’s ministries. So, with great hope and anticipation, we’re looking forward to working together with Sozo Church in Texas and Shinshu Community Church and seeing God start building us, Aquila Church!
Please pray for:
the team from Texas that God will supply all their needs and bless what they will do with Him during their stay here;
God’s love encounters and salvation of souls in the local community;
Our needs to be met.
