Day 388: Staycations, Workations, or real Vacations
"Workation" concept has been catching on in Japan these days.
I picked up an article of the Economist the other day on "work from Barbados".
Now, this isn't really about "workation", but introduces that Dubai is offering the travelers to have reasonable vacations there, at this very difficult time.
Dubai usually is not popular this time because of its hot and humid weather (42 degrees celsius...), and the virus prevents the tourists considering to have vacations there.
So a very few people are staying there including people doing "Staycations" who can't leave there due to the virus.
Among the Arab countries unwilling to reopen for tourists, Dubai is dashing to offer them the attractive-looking tour-programs, including the insurance to cover your funeral just in case you got the virus...
Should I think about having fun in Dubai...?

Quote of the day
“Dubai is... after all,
a lonely, transitory place.
It's hard to maintain relationships
when people are always coming and going.”
