Day 135 : Tako-yaki
Again, a topic on Osaka local food.
Tako-yaki is also one of the most popular important Osaka local foods.
But I think, there are two reasons this could be a little difficult to get popular or sometimes an aversion, for the overseas people.
One: Tako, or octopus is still rare food in some countries, as its chewy...
Two: Its hotness could be sometimes painful for those people overseas.
So, actually, I do not have any friends who like Tako-yaki...
Well, I love it, so hopefully someday it gets more popular worldwide.
Word of the day:
aversion: 苦手
Quote of the day:
“In their brief time together Slothrop forms the impression that this octopus is not in good mental health, though where's his basis for comparing?”
― Thomas Pynchon
