Taddy de ナイト(night) in Dubai~sightseeing~
Hello! This is Taddy de night☆* For a while, I write this in English.
For my friends all over the world, I'd like to introduce this blog. The purpose is to write my record like a diary or to share my values, for instance, future, work, religion, love, marriage, and so on. This blog is read by you rather than by me. I think it is important to leave what I feel at this moment! I know my English skill is not so good, but I hope you also enjoy reading this blog hahaha. If my English is incorrect (or not natural), please tell me...
Today was my first day in Dubai. I came here to study English at a language school. However, the school will start from tomorrow. I had a free time, so I decided to enjoy sightseeing! It takes half an hour to go to downtown from my dorm by bus.
At first, I went to The Dubai Mall. (Some vertical photos turn horizontal, please never mind... Maybe you can see the photos if your smartphone turns sideways.)
There are about 1,500 shops in the mall. It was too big to go around in a day. It is said that it is one of the biggest mall in the world!
I was surprised at that the mall also had an aquarium (and a zoo).
At lunch, I tried one of Middle Eastern cuisines called sawarma (kabab). It was very delicious!!!
After that, I went outside and walk around The Dubai Fountain. The weather was perfect and I could see the beautiful buildings.
This fountain has some show times in a day. Luckily, I could watch. This photo is the show and Burj Khalifa, the highest building in the world (828m). I have to raise my neck vertically to see the top hahaha.
After the show, I moved by metro and went to Dubai Old Souk. Souk means an open-air marketplace or commercial quarter.
Some merchants talked to me and one of them caught my arm. At that time, I was a little scared, but I could run away huh....
This is Dubai Creek used as a port and it leads to the origin of thriving Dubai city!
Then, these photos are in Al Bastakiya. The area is the most historical place in Dubai, I enjoyed the Arabian atmosphere!!
Unlike the city, I felt the old Arab like Aladdin.
These photos are in the city area. I think that the city area is the best place to understand the atmosphere of the country and area. Of course, it is different from Japan on chaos traffic and construction. Focusing on chaos, it is also in Southern East Asia. But it is not same as the vector. Feeling the atmosphere is one of the most interesting point in sightseeing.
These photos are near my dorm. Unlike downtown, this area is developing. Some areas have very beautiful buildings, other areas have good old atmosphere, the other areas are under construction to develop. I'm sure that it is the most characteristic point in Dubai.
This is my first stay in Arab, I will still enjoy my stay! The school will start tomorrow. I'm committed to improving my English skill!!!
Thank you for reading. This was Taddy de night☆*
