2022/10/08 F1 Qualifying Day

Saturday was sunny, unlike yesterday. It is a nice autumn weather.

I had English tea in the morning. It was interesting that the cups were larger than those of Japanese tea.

While drinking tea, an engineer wearing a Japanese hachimaki caught my eye.

He is the engineer in charge of Nicolas's tires and was very friendly and took our picture.

There was a photo session with the driver afterwards. It was really memorable to get a picture with Alex and Nicholas.

Just when I saw the pictures I felt I needed to lose weight.

After the photo, I spoke with Mr. Tsujino. He is a Japanese motorsports announcer. He was very interesting and his talk was very easy to understand. I felt that just as there are professionals who drive cars, there are also great professionals who talk.

I also watched the qualifying from the Williams garage.
Alex's attack was very close.

Both cars finished in Q1, but since it was raining on race day, I believed we had a good chance to get points for sure.

Tomorrow is finally the race. I will write a little longer diary tomorrow.
