Situation in Ukraine
It's been 679 days since Russia invaded Kyiv,
so let's start with general matters.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the losses of Russian troops are
780 soldiers
12 tanks
21 armored combat vehicles
28 cannons
2 multiple rocket launchers
1 air defense system　
5 drones
2 cruise missiles
38 other vehicles.

The entire front reported 57 ground battles in a single day.

And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 2.5 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.

The losses on the Russian side are mostly infantry fighting vehicles and military trucks,
while the losses on the Ukrainian side are mostly tanks.

On New Year's Eve in Mariupol,
Russian troops drank with poisoned alcohol,
poisoning and killing 20 people.

According to Russian media,
the soldiers held a banquet to celebrate the New Year,
but the alcohol contained a powerful sleeping drug,
and when the soldiers fell asleep,
someone broke in and by the next morning they were all dead.

Among the dead were two Russian military officers,
and on December 29,
it was also revealed that the partisan organization "Mariupol Resistance" had posted on a social networking site hinting at the crime,

26 Russian soldiers died mysteriously in Mariupol in one week last October,

Here is an update on the war situation in the Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar areas.

Avdiivka area

The Russians attacked Avdiivka 8 times and Pervomaiske and Neveleske 16 times,
but were repulsed by the Ukrainian army without any result for the Russians.

In October,
the Russian army launched an offensive for the siege of Avdiivka,
but the Russian army suffered tens of thousands of casualties and the offensive finally slowed down.

Conversely,
the Ukrainian army has been using drones to destroy Russian positions one by one,
reducing the strength of the Russian army.

Over the past few days,

Russian troops also attacked east of Novomihailivka,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian troops.

South,
Zaporizhia region.

In this sector,
Ukrainian forces have switched to active defense and Russian forces are on the offensive.

North of Verbove,
the Russian 108th Airborne Regiment launched an attack at the location shown on the battle map,
but was unable to break through the Ukrainian positions and did not advance.

The Russians also launched an offensive west of Robotyne,
but this was also repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
the Russians retreated with losses,
and here again the Russians are unable to advance.

Today there are reports of explosions in Belgorod and Sevastopol,

Kherson province.

In Krinky,
the Russians launched nine attacks,

Soldiers from the Russian Army's 70th Automated Life Division were found to be abusing alcohol and banned drugs,
