Situation in Ukraine
It's been 679 days since Russia invaded Kyiv,
so let's start with general matters.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the losses of Russian troops are
780 soldiers
12 tanks
21 armored combat vehicles
28 cannons
2 multiple rocket launchers
1 air defense system
5 drones
2 cruise missiles
38 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 57 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 2.5 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
The losses on the Russian side are mostly infantry fighting vehicles and military trucks,
while the losses on the Ukrainian side are mostly tanks.
Here is a short news report on the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use the YouTube chapter function to watch the necessary parts.
On New Year's Eve in Mariupol,
Russian troops drank with poisoned alcohol,
poisoning and killing 20 people.
According to Russian media,
the soldiers held a banquet to celebrate the New Year,
but the alcohol contained a powerful sleeping drug,
and when the soldiers fell asleep,
someone broke in and by the next morning they were all dead.
Among the dead were two Russian military officers,
and on December 29,
it was also revealed that the partisan organization "Mariupol Resistance" had posted on a social networking site hinting at the crime,
saying that they had prepared alcohol with an unknown substance.
As reported in a previous video,
26 Russian soldiers died mysteriously in Mariupol in one week last October,
and another 15 showed symptoms of poisoning.
Second.
A male double for President Vladimir Putin has been identified.
Political scientist Solovei declared on social networking sites that the real Putin died on October 26 last year and that all of President Putin's public appearances are doubles.
For example,
he revealed that the man who appeared in Putin's New Year's speech this year was one of his shadow warriors named Yevgeny Vasilyevich,
a carpenter from Belarus.
He also analyzed the fact that Putin's speech this year was the shortest in history to avoid being identified as a shadow warrior,
and that this shadow warrior inadvertently spoke at another meeting last year,
saying that he knew how to make window frames.
The power in Russia is now with Patrushev,
the Secretary General of the Russian Security Council,
and Putin is being played by several shadow warriors,
he said.
Third.
A TV hijacking took place in Moscow and a broadcast warned people in Moscow that there would be an attack,
and the video shows the latitude and longitude of the Russian Federal Security Service,
the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces,
the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation,
and the Ministry of Defense of Russia,
which can be seen warning people to be careful.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
I will tell you where the war situation is changing.
Northeast Luhansk region
In this area,
Russian troops attacked at Shinkivka,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian troops.
Other Russian offensives were weak,
and there was no information that would affect the war picture.
Eastern Bakhmut Area
The following is an update on the situation in the Bakhmut area.
In this area the Russians made about 6 attacks.
In the area of Bohdanivka,
both sides are using artillery and drone attacks on the rear to check each other's movements.
Drone footage of Ukrainian troops and Russian BMD infantry fighting vehicles driving in the rear is shown.
There is no change in the war picture.
Second.
On the O0506 road from Kromove to Chashivyar,
the position video shows Russian troops launching an offensive and Ukrainian troops returning fire.
The video shows the area near the battle map where the Russian troops are attacking.
The map has also been updated to include the abandoned Ukrainian tanks on the road west of the cemetery,
which has expanded the area of the disputed territory.
There is also unconfirmed information that Russian troops have advanced in Kurdumivka,
but this information will be updated as soon as it is confirmed.
Southeast Donetsk region
Weather in Avdiivka is light snow.
Minimum temperature -9 degrees Celsius,
maximum 0 degrees Celsius.
Today's weather forecast is cloudy.
Here is an update on the war situation in the Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar areas.
Avdiivka area
The Russians attacked Avdiivka 8 times and Pervomaiske and Neveleske 16 times,
but were repulsed by the Ukrainian army without any result for the Russians.
In October,
the Russian army launched an offensive for the siege of Avdiivka,
but the Russian army suffered tens of thousands of casualties and the offensive finally slowed down.
Conversely,
the Ukrainian army has been using drones to destroy Russian positions one by one,
reducing the strength of the Russian army.
Here is footage of a Ukrainian military drone unit conducting night surveillance along the railroad tracks north of Stepove.
Second.
Over the past few days,
the Russian military has been aggressively attacking the Pervomaiske axis of attack with a small infantry assault.
Because of their small size,
they are hard to find and have quickly penetrated the Ukrainian positions and established themselves as a stronghold.
The image shown is of Russian troops in a clay pipe at the location shown on the battle map,
as seen from a Ukrainian drone.
There are no changes to the battle map.
Marinka Sector
In this sector,
Russian troops are attacking to encircle Novomihailivka.
Russian troops attacked north of Novomihailivka with one T72 tank and three BMP infantry fighting vehicles,
but were repulsed at the location shown on the battle map.
The image shown is from the Ukrainian side and shows Russian armored vehicles burning at the location shown on the battle map.
The battle map remains unchanged as this location is disputed.
Russian troops also attacked east of Novomihailivka,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian troops.
What we show you is a view of the location on the battle map,
and a Russian military blogger also complained that "the Russians like to attack minefields.
This location had been shown as Russian-occupied territory,
but we have updated the battle map to show disputed territory.
South,
Zaporizhia region.
In this sector,
Ukrainian forces have switched to active defense and Russian forces are on the offensive.
North of Verbove,
the Russian 108th Airborne Regiment launched an attack at the location shown on the battle map,
but was unable to break through the Ukrainian positions and did not advance.
The Russians also launched an offensive west of Robotyne,
but this was also repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
the Russians retreated with losses,
and here again the Russians are unable to advance.
Shown here is the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army observing the Russians at the location shown on the battle map.
Rear Areas
Today there are reports of explosions in Belgorod and Sevastopol,
and in Sevastopol the Russian occupation authorities claim to have shot down a missile.
What we show you is what it looked like when two explosions were observed in Sevastopol.
South,
Kherson province.
In Krinky,
the Russians launched nine attacks,
all of which were repulsed,
leaving the battlefield unchanged.
Meanwhile,
in Oreshkiy,
a Russian officer opened fire on civilians early in the New Year,
killing one and wounding another,
prompting an FSB investigation.
Soldiers from the Russian Army's 70th Automated Life Division were found to be abusing alcohol and banned drugs,
which may have contributed to the incident.
According to the local Telegram channel that reported this,
the troops in this direction continue to suffer heavy losses due to shelling and drone attacks by the Ukrainian army,
and the situation has been worsening for months,
and this is the result of their addiction to alcohol and drugs as a way to escape reality.
That's all for today.
Thank you for watching.
