Situation in Ukraine
It has been 768 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
general things.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses are 710 soldiers
20 tanks
17 armored combat vehicles
32 cannons
1 air defense system
26 drones
9 cruise missiles
38 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 85 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 5.0,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
On the Russian side,
the losses of military trucks,
infantry fighting vehicles,
reconnaissance equipment,
and civilian trucks are high,
and the losses of infantry fighting vehicles are the highest since November 2022.
Conversely,
on the Ukrainian side,
infantry fighting vehicles are somewhat more prominent.
Here is a short news report on the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use YouTube's chapter feature to watch where you need to.
1.
It looks like US support for Ukraine is finally being decided.
U.S.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner,
a Republican,
appeared on a CBS interview program and stated that the first order of business for Congress after the Easter recess will be to vote on a funding bill for Ukraine.
According to Congressman Turner,
"When Congress reconvenes on April 9,
we will first pass a bill on the federal debt ceiling and then vote on military assistance legislation,
including Ukraine," and stated,
"The bills already have strong support among Republicans and among Americans,
and Chairman Johnson is doing everything he can to bring them to a vote.
Chairman Johnson is doing everything in his power to bring it to the floor.
I believe the bill will be something the President can sign," he replied.
The U.S.
House of Representatives is scheduled to be in session from the 9th through the 21st.
Second.
All major warships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet have withdrawn from Crimea.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy,
Pletenchuk,
said,
"Russia has moved all its main ships from Crimea to Novorossiysk,
and only the failed ships remain."
Spokesman Pletenchuk said,
"If we take cruise missiles,
for example,
there is one missile ship that has never fired a single missile,
but all the main battle groups and ships have been moved to Novorossiysk.
All that remains in Crimea are those that are too small and not worth moving," he said.
Now here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date in a large full-screen display.
Northeast: Luhansk region
Eastern part,
towards Bakhmut
This section covers the war situation from Kupyansk to the Svatove-Kreminna line and from the Siversk area to Bakhmut.
In this area the Russians attacked six times at Terny and Bilohorivka and seven times in the direction of Bakhmut.
Bakhmut
The Russian army has been active in the Donetsk area,
which we will report on next,
and Russian offensives in this area have been slow.
Russian forces attacked to the extent that they did not allow Ukrainian troops to rest,
According to located video footage,
Russian forces conducted drone strikes on four to five Ukrainian positions in Bohdanivka,
firing from the southern rear of the settlement to check Ukrainian forces,
but there were no reports of direct ground fighting,
No direct ground fire was reported and the battle map remained unchanged.
Southeast Donetsk region
The weather in Avdiivka was cloudy with occasional showers.
The minimum temperature is 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 23 degrees Celsius.
Today's weather is forecast to be hazy.
Weather forecast.
Below is an update on the situation in Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar.
Avdiivka
As we will report later,
the Russians launched a total of 24 attacks with more than 40 vehicles in this area.
According to military expert Lopke,
the Bild newspaper pointed out that once the Russians break through Berdych and Semenivka,
the occupation could continue due to the absence of densely populated areas and the spread of flat land.
1.
At Berdici the Russians launched a relatively large offensive along the north-south road.
However,
just as they reached their usual position,
they were attacked by Ukrainian forces,
losing only two BMP infantry fighting vehicles,
one armored vehicle,
and two Desert Cross 4-wheel buggies,
as far as can be ascertained.
However,
as always,
the infantry deployed to signal the attack on the vehicles and the advance continued,
eventually being repulsed by cluster bombs at the locations indicated on the map.
Some,
however,
managed to dig trenches and establish bases,
and the area controlled by the Russians expanded,
albeit only slightly.
Shown here is the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
slightly to the rear,
observing a Russian BMP infantry fighting vehicle at the location shown on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the extent of the Russian advance from disputed territory into Russian-occupied territory.
2.
At Tonenke,
the Russian Army's 6th Tank Regiment of the 90th Tank Division launched an unprecedented large-scale offensive with 36 tanks and 12 BMP infantry fighting vehicles,
to which the Ukrainian Army responded.
The Ukrainian Army destroyed 12 tanks and 8 BMP infantry fighting vehicles,
but the ground war is still ongoing.
The road leads to Umanske,
but it is quite winding and narrow along the fields,
and it looks like they attacked to get into the dead end themselves,
but whatever their intentions,
they are certainly launching a major offensive.
For now,
there is no change in the battle map.
3.
On the contrary,
the Ukrainian troops are advancing and are taking up positions north of Vodzhane,
as indicated on the map.
4.
In Pervomaiske,
the 9th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Army has raised a flag and claimed to occupy the location shown on the map north of the reservoir.
The flag was raised anxiously at the walled area,
suggesting that a counterattack by Ukrainian forces is imminent.
We have updated the battle map as Russian forces have moved into this area.
Marinka area
In this area,
the Russians launched 36 attacks,
mainly against Novomihailivka,
and most of them were successfully repulsed by the Ukrainian army.
However,
on the southern outskirts of Novomihailivka,
Russian vehicles advanced into the area shown on the map,
hoping to get a shot,
and were repelled by Ukrainian forces there.
What we are showing you is the 79th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army observing an MTLB armored fighting vehicle that fell into a ditch.
We are limited in what we can show you here,
so we will post the unaltered videos,
such as Pshu and Dvar,
on the Telegram channel.
The link is in the overview section when you are ready to watch.
The battle map has been updated as the disputed territory has expanded to this location.
Southern Province of Zaporizhia
Southern Kherson Province
In this area,
the Russians attacked Stalomaiorsk and Robotyne five times,
and Krinky twice,
but the Ukrainian forces repelled all of them,
and the Russians made no progress,
In the attack on Robotyne,
which we reported yesterday,
we described it as if the Russians attacked from the southwest,
but we have since learned more details and found that they attacked from the south and rushed to break up the recaptured Ukrainian positions,
so we have revised the battle map.
The map shows the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
as shown on the map.
Miscellaneous
Some military sources report that Germany has decided to stop the production of the Taurus missile.
The Taurus missile is an air-to-ground missile with a range of 500 km,
developed by Germany in cooperation with Sweden,
and is said to be stealthy and suitable for attacking the Crimean Bridge.
That's all for today.
Thank you for watching.
