Situation in Ukraine
It's been 676 days since Russia invaded Kyiv,
so let's start with general matters.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the losses of Russian troops are
960 soldiers
8 tanks
17 armored combat vehicles
30 cannons
4 multiple rocket launchers
2 air defense systems　
37 drones
1 cruise missile
56 other vehicles.

Across the entire front,
56 ground battles were reported in a single day.

And the ratio of the number of Ukrainian equipment losses to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 9.8 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.

The Russian side has lost more infantry fighting vehicles,
civilian and military trucks,
and is actively sending soldiers to the front lines.

On the Ukrainian side,

In connection with the destruction of the large landing ship Novocherkassk,

Northeastern part,
towards Luhansk region

We will report on the war situation in the area from Halkiu and Kupyansk to the Svatove-Kreminna line and the area around Sibersk.

In this area the Russians attacked seven times.

On the western side of Dibrova,
the Ukrainian troops continued to attack the Russian troops with drones,
and their positions confirm that they advanced in the vicinity of the battle map.

The area is about 2 square kilometers.

After a long time we have received information about Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.
According to the video with location information,
there is information that Russian troops have shelled a water treatment facility at the mine,
which confirms the continued presence of Ukrainian troops at this location.

Eastern Bakhmut area

The following is a report on the battle situation in the Bakhmut area.
The Russians made two attacks in this area,
both of which were repulsed by the Ukrainian forces.

North of Bakhmut

In Bohdanivka,
Ukrainian troops heavily shelled Russian troops.

First,
Ukrainian forces used at least four cluster shells on the Hryhorivka communication line north of Bohodanivka to reduce Russian forces.

Second.
The Ukrainians also shelled Russian forces massed east of Bohodanivka at night at the location shown on the battle map,
destroying two BMP infantry fighting vehicles and inflicting other casualties.

Southeast Donetsk region

The weather in Avdiivka is rainy.
The minimum temperature is 0 degrees Celsius,

The forecast has changed to a strong cold spell of minus 30 degrees this week.

Here is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar.

Avdiivka

The Russian army has launched 29 attacks in this area and is concentrating its forces on the encirclement of Avdiivka,
while the Ukrainian army,
as reported earlier in Bakhmut's war report,
is beginning to receive ammunition widely among the Ukrainian forces,
or perhaps President Zelensky's visit to his headquarters the day before was a success. There are signs of a counterattack in this direction.

On the old Twitter feed on X,
some people are translating and disseminating information from the Institute for the Study of War,
but the Institute's information on the state of the war is often repeated multiple times with the same Russian military advance information.
Without verification,
it is possible to misinterpret the information as if the Russians have the upper hand,
so please be careful.

According to the war situation diagram,
the Ukrainian army conducted a surface attack with multiple rocket launchers in the triangle between the railroad tracks northwest of Krasnohorivka,
and then launched a ground offensive and counterattack.

Marinka sector

the Russians launched nine attacks on Marinka and Novomihailivka,
which were defended by Ukrainian troops,

To the west of Marinka,
the Russians began to advance further west from Marinka and immediately opened fire in front of Heoryivka,
but there are reports that mines are densely scattered along the main road,
so the Russians are expected to have a very difficult time.

Southern Zaporizhia Province

The Russians conducted two attacks in this area,
but there was no information that would affect the war situation.

There are several reports that Ukrainian troops are defending themselves from Robotyne to Kopaniye and are withdrawing except for the troops needed for defense.

South,
Kherson province.

In this area the Russians are attacking aggressively,
but for some reason they are unable to advance and are being reduced in strength by the Ukrainian army.

In Krynky,
the Russians launched thermobaric bombs at the location indicated on the battle map and then launched a ground offensive,
making a total of 10 attacks,
all of which were repulsed by the Ukrainian forces.

the Ukrainian military pounded the rear with widespread artillery and drone fire,
shelling Russian positions,
destroying tanks,
self-propelled artillery and surveillance equipment.
