About NFT collection “SquareMates”

I started to operate Squaremates, an NFT collection with designer usagi in May 2022.

Why we started Squaremates?
The reason why we started Squaremates collection is to create a Japanese fashion brand for the Web 3.0 era.
We believe that within the next few years, people will be spending time in metaverse space just like in real space. Our goal is to be one of the major brands that support people's self-expression in the metaverse space at that time.
As a stepping stone to this goal, we have started to operate Squaremates.
Squaremates is characterized by its character designs and color schemes that make full use of Square. All of the art is handmade by the designer, “usagi”, and is one-of-a-kind.
Squaremates does not reflect the current NFT trend at all.
"I want to own what I like without caring about trends or what others think of me, and I want to enrich my heart. "
We want holders for such people.
The roadmap for Squaremates
①Establish a community where holders can interact with each other.
(Target when 100 NFTs are sold)

③Establishment of a fashion brand for Metaverse
Sell apparel and goods exclusively for NFT holders.
As Squaremates moves forward with the above roadmap, it is important that we do not aim for short-term sales or profits.
If we aim for short-term sales, we will inevitably have to do something that goes against what we want to do or what our policy is.
We believe that by not following the trend, but by maintaining our stance and continuous communication, we will gradually increase the number of people who will support us.
We plan to release a new NFT about once a week for a while.
