近況アップデート／Life Update

お久しぶりです。Renです。気が付けば前回の記事から一年近く経ってしまいました。その間に世界は大きく変わり、また僕自身の生活環境も変化しました。当然その変化の中でコロナウィルスにも触れないといけないのですが、それは長くなりそうなので別の記事で扱うことにします。
昨年の８月まで僕はイギリスのサセックス大学にある、開発学研究機関（The Institute of Development Studies)にて開発学を勉強していました。そこでの１年の留学期間のうち後半の３分の１程度はコロナの影響でほぼオンラインになってしまいましたが、何とか無事修論も提出し、卒業を確定させることができました。
では、今は何をしているのかというと、オックスフォード大学にて別の修士号を取得するべく勉強中です。また修士かという感じですが、国際関係（国際政治や国際法、外交等）を勉強しています。
サセックス大学とオックスフォード大学は同じイギリスにありながらも、まったく風土が異なるため、他の学生との会話や授業スタイル等、大学生活のどんな側面を切り取って比較してみても、顕著な違いがあるのが非常に面白いです。
オックスフォードには今年の夏まで滞在する予定なので、こんな普通ではない状況ではありますが、イギリスの状況やオックスフォードでの学生生活等気ままに発信していけたらと思います。
なお、今後については、以前よりも可能な限り更新頻度を上げれればと思っています（大学の勉強が忙しいのでどこまでできるかわかりませんが笑）。そして、今後は日記スタイルにして、以前と比較すると短めの記事にはなるかもしれませんが、何気ない日常を書いていくことにします。

Hi there, It's Ren. It's been a while since I posted the latest note. Meanwhile, the world has dramatically changed and my life changed as well. It's impossible to describe such changes without mentioning Covid-19, but I will deal with them in a different note because of its large volume.
Until last August, I studied international development at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), the University of Sussex, UK. Unfortunately, everything moved to online for the last third of the academic year due to the coronavirus. However, I successfully submitted my dissertation and my graduation was confirmed. (Yes, I made it!)
Then, speaking of what I am doing in the UK, I'm doing my another master's degree at the University of Oxford. Again master's but anyway, I'm specialised now in international relations including international politics, international law and diplomacy and so forth.
Since both two universities have a totally different culture, it is really interesting that there are noticeable differences in every aspect of university life such as conversations with other students and teaching styles.
I'm staying at Oxford until this summer, so even though this is a very weird time, I'll tell you the current situation in the UK and the student life at Oxford the way I feel.
Please note that I try to post my notes much more frequently than before (I'm not sure how frequently I can do so lol). And I'll write my note in a diary-style and describe my usual life. The notes would be relatively shorter than before.
