１１月１７日１９時のNHKニュースの裏番組としてBS1は何を放送していたか
この記事に書いたように、NHKの地上波のニュースがあまりにもひどかったので、テレビのチャンネルをBS1に切り替えてみた。そこで放送していたのは、これである。
「もう一度見たい！ＦＩＦＡワールドカップ名勝負 ２０１８ 日本ｖｓ．コロンビア」
誰がもう一度見たいのだろうか？
その週の月曜日から木曜日まで、１８時から２０時近くまで、BS1は、過去のワールドカップサッカーの試合の再放送をしていた。
『あの病気』がとても流行っていて、皆が不安だった頃のこの時間帯に、過去の高校野球の録画を放送していた時もあった。
NHKは、なぜこんな時間帯に再放送するんだ、なんて芸のない連中だと思っていたら、将来、衛星放送を減らす予定だという。
この記事によると、NHKはBS1、BSプレミアム、BS4Kの3波で放送しているが、このうち、BSプレミアムを2024年3月末に停波し、2024年4月からは「新BS2K」「新BS4K」（いずれも仮称）の2チャンネル体制にするそうだ。
再放送で時間を浪費する今の状況なら、ＢＳ放送を一つ減らしても、私は文句を言わない。
それに、これも前に書いたことだが、自転車をこぐ中年男の尻をテレビで見たいとは思わない。
２０２３年１０月にはNHKは受信料を下げるという。色々なものが値上がりする中で、この点はありがたいと思う。
ただ、この記事で書いたように、私が独身時代は、テレビが無くてもラジオだけで十分だった。
そして、今ではインターネットでいつでもニュースや色々な番組を安く、あるいは無料で見ることができる時代だ。
まともな番組を提供することを続けてくれる限りにおいて、NHKは存在価値があると思っている。

From Monday to Thursday that week, from 18:00 to nearly 20:00, BS1 was showing reruns of past World Cup football matches.

In the current situation where reruns are wasting time, I wouldn't complain even if BS broadcasts were reduced by one.
Also, as I wrote before, I don't want to see a middle-aged man riding a bike on TV.
NHK plans to reduce the reception fee in October 2023. I am grateful for this point while various things are rising in price. However, as I wrote in this article, when I was single, the radio was enough without a TV. And now we live in an era where you can watch news and various programs at any time on the Internet at low cost or for free.
I believe that NHK has value as long as it continues to provide decent programs.
