NHK 最近の教育放送について
「Ｅテレ」という、媚びたような名前を使い始めた頃から、少しずつおかしくなってきたような気はしていた。
『日曜美術館』という長寿番組がある。『日曜美術館』があるとき『新日曜美術館』になり、また『日曜美術館』に戻った。なぜだかはよくわからない。作品の魅力でなく、司会、あるいはゲストの発言に力点を置いた番組に変質した。まるで自分が主役であるかのような過剰な音楽は、だれがどういう意図で選んでいるのだろう。
タイトルのデザインも、あまり感心しない。"nichibi"って何だ？配色も素人のようだ。
かつてこの番組で見た、ベラスケスの『ラス・メニーナス』、あるいはピカソの『アビニヨンの娘たち」の放送は印象に残っている。最近取り上げられる絵は全く印象に残らない。数年前に美術館に行ったら、絵を見るより、観客を見る、という状態だったので、この番組は時々見ていた。しかしもう見ないだろう。少なくとも司会者が代わるまでは。
サイエンスZEROという、科学をテーマにした番組がある。これも時々見ていた。最近のタイトルが「宇宙誕生“１秒間”の謎！世界に誇るニュートリノ科学の大実験」。よくある、「日本はすごい！」系番組の科学版のようなタイトルである。
この番組は最近、やたら派手なコンピュータグラフィックスを多用するようになった。目が疲れるし、かえって安っぽくする。もう見ることもないだろう。

Ever since NHK started using the flattering name "E-tele," I've had the feeling that things were slowly going wrong.
There is a long-running program called "Sunday Art Museum," which at one point became "New Sunday Art Museum" and then went back to "Sunday Art Museum. I'm not sure why. It has degenerated into a program that focuses not on the appeal of the artworks but on the comments of the host or guests. I wonder who chose the excessive music, as if they were the main actors, and with what intention.
I'm also not very impressed with the title design. What is "nichibi"? The color scheme is also amateurish.
In the past, I was impressed by the broadcasts of Velazquez's Las Meninas and Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon that I saw on this program. The paintings featured these days do not impress me at all. When I went to the museum a few years ago, I was more likely to see the audience than to see the pictures, so I watched this program from time to time. But I don't think I will watch it anymore. At least not until the host is replaced.
There is a science-themed program called Science Zero. I used to watch it from time to time. The title of the latest program was "The Mystery of the 'One Second' of the Birth of the Universe! A World-Class Neutrino Science Experiment". It was like a science version of a common "Japan is amazing!" tv programs.
Recently, this program started to use a lot of flashy computer graphics. It's tiring on the eyes and makes it look cheap. I don't think I will watch this program anymore,too.
