With an eye on the future After Corona situation, we plan to launch a cable park project to propose a new water-centric lifestyle.

The origin of our activities lies in our desire to spread the appeal of water sports to a wider audiences. The cable park does not require boats or jet ski bikes, it uses an electric motor system instead, that allows multiple people to enjoy riding at the same time, making it easier for people to experience water sports. Another important feature of the cable system is that,  it is environmentally sustainability as it does not generate noise or environmental pollution.

In the future, this cable park will not be only a center for water activities, but also a place for local recreation and education, a place to relax with friends and family, and a new tourist hotspot, adding new colors to people's lives.

 What we want to achieve with the project

The goal of this crowdfunding is to purchase a portable 2 tower cable system.

Our ultimate goal is to build one of the largest Full size cable park in Japan in the Tokyo area(Within 90 minutes away from Major City)
However, in order to do so, we will need a Full size cable system, winches, land with the size of about one Tokyo Dome, facilities such as restrooms and storages, goods such as ski equipments and life jackets, and staffs to run the park. A rough estimate suggests it may cost approximately 500 million yen to prepare these items.
This is out of our reach and we do not have any lands available yet at the moment.
Therefore, we decided to purchase a portable two tower cable system and conduct demonstration tests in various locations.

By increasing the awareness of water sports(cable), which is still a minor sport in Japan, we hope to gather many friends who will support this project.
Also, the reason why we decided to go for crowdfunding this time is not just to raise funds, but to raise awareness of water sports.

We were originally working as a cable park project manager for the promotion committee of the NPO Japan Waterski and Wakeboard Federation, but we have now established a corporation to start raising funds through crowdfunding. That is SleekWater, LLC.

Ryota Funo, the current Japan Water Ski National Champion and SleekWater influencer, and the other members of the company were competing in the collegiate waterski leagues, although they came from different universities.
Although water skiing is a minor sport with only 10 universities in Japan having waterski clubs, we were all fascinated by water skiing and dedicated youth's life  during four years in college, and we still can't stay away from water ski and water sports.

Target amount and how it will be used

Target amount: 8.25 million yen
Our goal is to purchase a portable two towers cable system, and the cost of purchasing a two towers cable system is approximately 11 million yen.
This time, we would like to raise 8.25 million yen, three quarters of the 11 million yen, in honor of the company name, Three Quarter(SleekWater).
We plan to use loans and our own funds to cover the shortfall.

How will the funds be used?
The entire amount, excluding CAMPFIRE fees, will be used to purchase a 2 tower cable system.

For all plans, we will send you the progress reports of the project on "Activity Report" of CAMPFIRE as needed.

I have been spending most of my time on the water, traveling all over the country and the world to practice.Through water skiing, I met so many people all over the world, and I could feel my world expanding many times over.

No matter what your age, nationality, or whether you are a beginner or a professional, we all share and enjoy the same time on the water. Whether it is water sports, BBQ with family and friends, or just sitting and looking at the water and talking, I have the strong feeling that, water has the power to connect people and enriches our lives by adding color to our daily lives.

The new Corona Virus has caused people to become more distant from each other, and this is why we need to get in touch with the nature at the waterfront, to add color to our ordinary lives and to give us meaningful time. Through the cable park, we would like to provide people with such a place that enriches their lives.
