Hello! This is Katatsumuri, one of the Mother's Day Campaign 2024 staff members. At Single Mothers Sisterhood, we host a campaign where volunteer single mothers form teams to create and present essays, calling for donations to support our initiatives.

Title: Are you going to be independent? Or not?

One day, my elementary school daughter suddenly declared her independence. She used to be so cuddly, always asking for a hug as soon as she got home. Alright then, if that’s the case, I’ll start preparing for MY independence to let go as a mother too! This essay features a lively story and enjoyable, humorous conversations between parent and child.
