映画制作日記 #25 「オールアップ！」 | Production Notes #25 "All done!"

During the five days of filming, thanks to the efforts of assistant director JunIchi and line producer Keitaro, we shot as much as possible in order as we approached the final day. In other words, the last day of shooting was for the last scene of the film. After this, we were all done (shooting). We were rushed by the setting sun and shot just in time. At times like this, the director has an indescribable feeling of "Oh, I'm so relieved that the shooting is over without any accidents" and "Oh, it's over. He is a bit sentimental and stays in silence until he returns to the place where he is staying. Aside from the raging days of editing that lie ahead, this is the only time I can think of when I want to be left alone, and I chew on it.

約5日間の撮影は助監督の市とラインプロデューサー栂岡の尽力で極力、順撮り(台本の順番通りに撮影していくこと)で最終日を迎えた。つまり、最終日の撮影は映画のラストシーンの撮影。これを終えてオールアップ(撮影完了)となった。刻々と落ちていく夕日に急かされながら、ギリギリセーフで撮影。こういう時、監督は「ああ、事故もなく撮影が終わってホッとした」感と「あー、終わっちゃった」感のなんとも言えない気持ちでいる。ちょっとセンチメンタルになりながら、宿泊の場所に戻るまでの間、無言でいたりする。後に控える編集という怒涛の日々のことはさておき、この時ばかりは、ちょっと、ひとりにさせて欲しいとさへ思いながら、噛み締めている。
