映画制作日記 #22 「朝のミーティング」 | Production Notes #22 "Morning Meeting”

There are many scenes in the house in this film. Every morning in front of the house where the film was shot, there is a meeting with the actors and staff over coffee. This is not a meeting room or a café. Inside the house, the film crew is hurriedly setting up. In a small space in front of the front door, they stand around and talk about the points of today's shooting. Since most of what we were going to do had already been communicated in the readings and several meetings before the shoot, on the morning of the day we talked about the weather and confirmed the scenes that needed to be shot quickly based on the angle of the sun. (Since this film uses a lot of natural light, the angle and brightness of the sunlight is very important.) The actors need to keep the tension in check, so they exchange few words. The scene in the morning was a pleasant mix of tension and anticipation.

この作品は家の中のシーンが多い。ロケ地になった家の前で毎朝、コーヒー飲みながら役者とスタッフでミーティングが行われる。会議室やカフェではない。家の中では撮影スタッフが慌ただしくセッティングを進めている。玄関前のちょっとしたスペースで、立ち話の状態で今日の撮影のポイントを淡々と話す。すでに本読みや撮影前の何回かの打ち合わせでやる事はほとんど伝わっているので当日の朝は天気の話や、太陽の角度から割り出して撮影を短時間に済ませなきゃいけないシーンの確認などをする。(この作品は自然光を多用しているので太陽光の角度や明るさはすごく重要だった) 役者はテンションを整える必要があるので、結構言葉少なく交わす。心地よいくらいの緊張感と期待感が入り混じる朝の光景。
