Day1 Part1 My Trip for Shodo Island 〜The movie village of 24 Eyes 〜

Hi! Today, I’m going to write about Day2 of my trip.

First, I checked out the hotel at 8:00 and took the bus for Takamatsu port.
The ferry I wanted to take left at 9:00, so I had to arrive the port early in the morning.

On thr way to the Takamatsu port, I walked through the central area of the Takamatsu city and I could see the Tamamo Park a little didn’t come in there though.

I could see the sign which says welcoming to Kagawa.

After buying the ticket, let’s get on the ferry! I took the ferry which Olive character was illustrated on it.

The destination is Shodo Island!
I could arrive there for about 1hour!
Not only people but also cars can be loaded onto the ferry.

Inside of the ferry, it was really clean and better I had expected.
There were women’s only seats and I was surprised.

My best friend Gyodo was also taking the ferry and enjoy his cruise.
He is a creature of the ocean.
He had an amulet for the safety of the travel.

And then, I finally reached the Shodo Island!!

Shodo Island is famous for the art, so on the arriving the port, I could see some artcrafts near the port.

At first, I planned to rent a bicycle for travellubg around the island, but it was large beyond my expectation. That’s why I chose taking the bus.

There was a shortage of transportation in this island, but it’s lucky that I got the bus immediately to the first destination called Twenty Four eyes movie village.

It took about 1 hour from the Tonosho port.
Tonosho port is located in the west of the island and Movie village is located in the east of the island.

I could usually see the sea from the bus trip.

Finally, I could reach there!

Rabbits drawend with cholk on the blackboard welcomes me.

I could feel a lot of retro here.

Aside from the retro spots, I could feel modern arts in a facility. There were some dot arts.

I got happy to find the ukulele here because I play the ukulele and have a feeling of being on the island :)

It’s me reflected in the mirror with the dot arts.

After getting out of the facility, I found the signboard.
This is the sign which is one the best photo spots with the sea in the background.

Then, I entered the other one on the main facilities.
There was a simulation of the classroom used in the movie.

I could see the sea from the window in the classroom. It is located in the best place.

There was also a retro poster and feel nostrasia.

There was a sad news here.
The bus every 2 hours went through before 10 minutes, so I decided to wat lunch and took it easy while relaxing.

This is famius school lunch consisted of fried bread, curry, milk, pudding.
