Many comedians and Japanese people were angry and said bad things about him.

A comedian and a picture book? They couldn't believe it.

But he believed in himself and continued to write.

It took him a month to write one page of this picture book.

The book became a big hit in Japan.

It is a story about people who live in a smoky town and don't believe in the existence of stars, and people who believe in stars and go to the sky.

日本のコメディアン達はテレビで大勢でトークをするのが普通です。

でも彼はそれを辞めて、絵本を書きました。

多くのコメディアンや、日本人たちはそれに怒り、彼の事を悪く言いました

コメディアンなのに絵本？と、みんな信じられない様子でした。

だけど、彼は自分を信じて、作り続けました。

１ページ書くのに、１ヶ月もかかる絵本です。

その絵本は日本で大ヒットしました。

煙だらけの町に住んでいて、星の存在を信じない人たちと、星を信じて空に行く人の物語です。

主人公は、西野さんなのかもしれません。

この絵本を読んだみんなは幸せになりました。

彼と同じ会社に居ることが、僕のちょっとした自慢です。
