Jan 13: Winter in Tokyo
It rarely snows in Tokyo. It snows a lot in winter in the town I grew up in. Japan is a long Island extending both north and south. It’s no wonder that I feel this away. I remember the day it snowed in Tokyo. I rushed to a park nearby and took a video of snows falling down from the gray sky. Tokyo is of a great city.
Sometime I feel like immersing myself in a hectic and polluted city life but most of the time I want to be in the countryside and live quietly and peacefully. I’m kind of a person who doesn’t need to live in a big city because I find nothing fun here. I wanna move to the seaside town. I wanna see the surfers riding waves, locals fishing on shores, I wanna see golden retrievers taking their owners for a walk for staying healthy, more than anything, I wanna swim in the sea. I wanna feel the wind and the wave. Last year I explored the seasides often and I really enjoyed myself. It elevated my quality of life. Instead of going up the stares in the stations in the central of Tokyo, I wanna choose a cozy life riding a bicycle near the sea. A couple of days ago, I was riding a bicycle and accidentally fell off from it because I was focusing on seeing the beautiful seaside and didn’t notice there were stairs. Only two woman, young and old approached me to help. There were tons of people in Yokohama though, fuck em, next day I went to see a doc, he said, my bones were ok, he saw my X-ray. Thank god it was Friday, no it was Monday. I guess, anyway, I’m okay now. I learned that people were unwilling to help others sometimes, which makes me sad. Hope I can find other stairs next time.
