I’ve been watching the British TV drama series, Sherlock, to improve my English. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch. I’ve never really watched any Sherlock Holmes series before, except for this one. I’m especially drawn to Sherlock’s eccentric character, which really adds depth to the stories. But what I love most about this series is the friendship between Sherlock and his best friend, Dr. John Watson. That wedding speech he gave for John really got me. When he said, “I know I speak for Mary as well when I say we will never let you down, and we have a lifetime ahead to prove that” it was so touching.
