日本の日

On Saturday I went to an event called "japan day" to Szombathely. Szombathely is around 110 km far from where I live. I went there with bus. The trip looked like this: 8:55 bus to Nagykanizsa arrived at 9:30. After that 10:45 the bus went to Szombathely. (Yes I had more then 1 hour for the. Until that time I had breakfast and read my SAO light novel.) Around 12:55 I arrived at Szombathely. Luckily the event wasn't far from the bus station around 10 minutes walk.

For this event you couldn't buy a ticket. If you wanted to visit the event you have pay atleast 5 Ft. In this event they collect the money to make a japanese garden in the city. Last year I went to this event too. At the door of the building was the box where you could give the money. After that I got a paper which contained the programs.

Program book

I don't want to translate the all programs from this paper, but I mention some: Enka concert, Otonoko Trió's concert, Ataru taiko concert Akita dog exhibiton, Karate, judo and etc. There were event in two place in time. one was the stage(Színpad in the paper) and the other was lecture room(Előadó). When I arrived I checked whatis in the galery(Galéria) and in the big room(Nagy terem).

In the galery was a market where you could buy japan gift items, mangas, dolls, snacks(like pocky) incense and etc. There was an exhibiton with Kitagawa Masayuki's masterpiece. All of them contained a kanji in his arts. I could recognise some of them. At the end of the exhibition was 12 clay bells as you can read in the picture. Unfortunately I only made photo about the Hungarian language edition paper. I am sorry.😅 In front of it there was these bells, but I didn't made photo about it neither. I am that type of man, who enjoy the moment and don't like to make a lot of picture.

In the big room there was origami, bonsai, tea, macha, anime picture coloring and etc. Here are some bonsai picture which I made there:

After that I sit in the lecture room, where I listened lecture about the bonsai. It was interesting, but I couldn't remember a lot of thing. The lecturer spoke about how he cuts, watering his bonsai. I knew that there exist a spray which name is leaf light(levél fény). It is makes lighter the leafs and it defend the plant against mites. At the second lecture I learnt about the japanese ceramics. Originally the lecturer was anybody else, but the new lecturer said that the originally lecturer was in japan with a scholarship and brought home how they make the ceramic there and she made her own furnace where she can make ceramics.
The New lecturer said that in japan they use different materials to make the ceramics it depends on region(what kind of material they could mine, the materials quality and etc.). In japan every region have their own "ceramic style". I heard in a youtube video I heard that in japan the goverment maybe want to make that you can buy specific items in that specific region. For example you can't buy things from Osaka ceramics product in Tokyo or very hard to buy that. With that they want to make the countryside is to be special for everybody. We was there 2 youtube video. One was about the tea ceremony the other was about the ceramics making. It was interesting too. I made one picture, but that is obscure.
After that the last lecturer I took part was about how to star wars connect to the samurais. At the beginning of the lecture I know that star wars is not a sci-fi it is a fantasy. After that we learnt that the jedi's and samurai's have similiar clothes, symboles, rules and etc. I am a star wars fan. Not a big I know the main movies. I Think that lecture was interesting too.

After that Lecture I had to go to the bus station. If it was earlier, I had see the 18:00 program at the stage. It's title was anime's roles in the japanese culture. As a big anime fan I wanted to see it, but if I stayed I arrived home around 23 o'clock.

All of the event. I think it was interesting. I don't know yet if I go next year. I know that similiar event is going to hold in Gyula this saturday(10日12月). Gyula is the other half of the country, so I won't go there.

I offer you a program if you live in japan. Since last year if somebod said for me there is a Hungarian festival in Japan, I would thought he is stupid. It is exist. This year will be hold the 5th time. I drop here a link about the event. If you go there pls send some pictures about the event to my email address. Thank you. link:
