Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters and GX anime
(Contains spoilers from the anime!!!)
I have recently finished the Yu-Gi-Oh GX anime. How I watched was a very interesting way. I watched it with Hungarian dub or Hungarian sub or english sub. It depended on the episode how I found on the internet. I realized something interesting the original first Op in the Japanese version and in the Hungarian version is different. Not only the music, the animation too. The box which shows the Lifepoints of the players and the ATK and DEF's of the monsters is different too. On the left side of the first picture you can see the Hungarian version of the anime. On the right side you can see the original. If you examine better the picture you can see that the cards looks different too.
The GX has 180 episode from which 104 episode got Hungarian dub. If we are speaking about the Duel monsters it has 224 episode from which 49 episode got dub.
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters
I started to see it, when I was around to start watching animes I watched the 49 episode with HUN dub and after that I skipped it, until this summer. It waited around 6-7-8 years to finish it. The story was good, but I had a little strange feeling after I finished. I don't remember (or I missed a part) how Atem got into the 1000 year icon. The Story of the anime was good.
Yu-Gi-Oh GX
With this anime they wanted to continue the story with a new MC. I didn't undestand that part why they names the dormitories after the God cards. In the anime we got 3 new god level cards which was very similiar to the ones in the Duel monsters anime. I think I had to name after the sacred beast not after the Egyptian God cards. I didn't undestand Saio's dueling style. when he summoned a card. A card appeared above the monsters and it started to rotate. In a Real life duel how would it possible to do?
I think in the last 2 arcs they wanted to make something similiar than Yugi+ Atem, when Yubel'soul was fusioned with Yudai'soul. At the first episode we could see Yugi for a short period. I remembered that from my childhood too when I watched the anime, but Until the very end of the anime I didn't undestand why was it showed. In the last 2 episode Yudai starts a duel with Yugi+Atem. Unfortunely we don't know who won in that duel.
I have already started to watch the animes from the Summer season, so soon I think I will articles about it. The next article possibly will be about Oshi no Ko S2. Did you see Yu-Gi-Oh animes? How was it? I hope you find interesting this article.
