新ライン【藍+（アイプラス）】

これまでサムライジーンズはインディゴを中心に、本藍、柿渋、墨、草木など様々な染料を用いてオリジナルデニムを制作してきましたが、今回のNEWデニムはインディゴ染料と天然藍を特殊な手法で混ぜ合わせ、通常は枷の手染めに限られる藍を、ロープ染色【糸の中白を残す染色方法】可能にしたスペシャル18ozデニムです。

Until now, samurai jeans have produced original denim mainly with indigo, using various dyes such as indigo, persimmon astringent, ink, and plant, but this NEW denim mixes indigo dye and natural indigo with a special method. In addition, this is a special 18oz denim that enables rope dyeing [a dyeing method that leaves the inside white of the thread] indigo, which is usually limited to hand dyeing of shackles.

糸は経にオリジナルの強撚の硬いムラ糸、緯には自家製綿【サムライコットン】を微量ですがミックスさせた特別なオリジナルムラ糸を使用しています。

The yarn is lightly original hard twisted hard uneven yarn, and the weft uses a special original uneven yarn mixed with a small amount of homemade cotton [Samurai cotton]

ザラ感も強くネップもあるので、荒々しい表情を持っていますが、色はインディゴ染料だけでは出せない藍ならではの豊かな美しい色合いになっています。

It has a rough texture and has a nep, so it has a rough look, but the color is a rich and beautiful shade unique to indigo that cannot be produced with indigo dye alone.

ロープ染色なので、インディゴデニム同様激しい当たり感を望めますが、サムライ定番インディゴデニムと比べるとじっくりとした変化を楽しめます。

As it is dyed with rope, you can expect a violent hit like indigo denim, but you can enjoy a more detailed change than the standard samurai indigo denim.

また、セルビッチ部分も藍プラスの経糸を使用しており、耳糸の色の変化も見逃せません。

In addition, the selvage part also uses indigo plus warp threads, so you can not miss the color change of the ear thread.
