Marie Chiba / 千葉麻里絵 (GEM by moto) Sake paring method for professionals - extra edition | Sake Ambassador Seminar File. 001
The upcoming “Sake Ambassador Seminar” is an opportunity to learn about professional methods for conveying the appeal of sake. Sake Ambassadors are professionals who work in areas relating to branding for sake and sake breweries while also striving to increase sake consumption and to help create a place for the sake category on the worldwide alcohol market. They are selected based on criteria such as “holding qualifications related to sake” and “impressive activities relating to sake education.”
The Sake Ambassador Seminar is not just for Sake Ambassadors, as it is also targeted toward people who want to become Sake Ambassadors, people involved with restaurants and hotels, people in the food and beverage industry, or people in related organizations or government groups. The theme has been selected to help this wide range of people improve their “professional abilities to propagate sake,” providing an opportunity to obtain knowledge and know-how from the top people in the industry.
We are proud to introduce our instructor, the charismatic sake pairing expert Marie Chiba!
This first seminar will be hosted by the charismatic sake pairing expert Marie Chiba, who is manager of "GEM by moto" and appeared in the “Kampai! Sake Sisters” documentary. She will speak about “Sake paring method for professionals - extra edition."
Providing know-how to help professionals improve their pairing abilities.
Ms. Chiba’s pairing methods have previously been introduced in the book “Sake Pairing,” which includes nine pairing theories and a concrete guide for pairing. At this seminar, she will share deep insights regarding the approach and framework for the mindset required for professionals to further improve their pairing abilities.
Ms. Chiba has also prepared some invaluable content about sake pairing specifically for the Sake Ambassador Seminar.
*English content will be prepared.
The seminar will be broadcast around the world in both Japanese and English, and it will be free of charge.
This seminar will be broadcast as a Webinar. There will be a Japanese channel and an English channel, and Ms. Chiba’s materials will also be available in both Japanese and English. We will have separate registration forms for Japanese participants and English speaking participants, so you can register for whichever language you prefer when selecting a channel.
There is no charge for participation. Please be aware that participation is limited to those who work with sake.
There will be an opportunity for participants to ask Ms. Chiba questions at the seminar!
The seminar will be broadcast live. We anticipate that some participants will have questions for Ms. Chiba. We will be accepting questions during the seminar, and Ms. Chiba will answer these questions immediately following her lecture. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have read her book, watched “Kampai! Sake Sisters,” or have any questions about pairing.
Participants should register as soon as possible.
There is a limit on the number of people who will be able to participate. If you are interested in the seminar, please register before the seminar is full.
A special message from Ms. Chiba.
Ms. Chiba is currently working with Japanpage to prepare content for the SakeYours app, which is scheduled to be released next year. Recently, 70 varieties of sake were selected and sampled from among the 150 varieties on Japanpage:Sake. At the time, Ms. Chiba prepared a special message for the participants of this seminar, which will begin on November 30th.
