What I learned in the Systema Basic Class
Passing on the power of Systema.
When you are in a fight with an opponent, it is important to pass the opposing force and follow it.
This is because in Systema, relaxation is very important.
It is one of the four main principles.
In this case, I will focus on two of the four.
・Breathe.
・Relax.
If you follow the flow of your opponent's power, you will naturally keep your distance from each other.
In martial arts, the principle is to stay close to your opponent during a fight.
If you can keep a constant distance, you can keep your opponent under your control.
This makes it easier to move on to the next attack.
Stay with your opponent.
Do not change the pressure of your hands, but breathe and relax (especially relax your shoulders).
Let the opponent's power flow through you (if your legs are relaxed, your opponent will follow you, so the distance will be constant).
It is easy to understand if you do it with force.
■Summary
If you are conscious of your breathing and relaxation, you can control your opponent by letting his power flow through you.
