Changes in culture and values that may occur in the future. (2021/10/1 early‼️ brush up blog)

hello everyone.

Sai & Co. This is Sai & Co. from WAKU Challenge Lab.

Well, today, I will brush up on my past blogs and explain "changes in culture and values that may occur in the future".

If you enjoyed today's story, please share it with us😁

Now let's get down to business.

Awesome❗️

Reservations for New Year's Eve have started again this year.

(After all, reservations will start at the same time as last year this year. Well, the reservation period hasn't come early enough for summer, so I think this October is the limit for the start of announcements, but sooner or later. Isn't it going to be something like New Year's Eve all year round if companies put out something like New Year's Eve to eat in the summer?)

I mean, it's not even Halloween or Christmas yet...

We were just trying to decide which one to order for the Christmas cake the other day, but I still felt like it was too early.

(I haven't decided which one to get this year yet, but I had a catalog at home with Christmas cakes and dishes on it. , Even if you want to finish your errands as soon as possible, the atmosphere of the city is still there, so it doesn't come to your senses at all. While the heat is still lingering in places, even if you look at the catalog with the scene of snow falling. It's not easy to get motivated to buy, but I guess both the company and the customers who have become accustomed to doing it can't get over it.Cognitive dissonance and habituation in psychology are hidden here. In other words, making a reservation for food in the middle of winter during the hot season is in itself a contradiction, but I justify what I do, such as because I have the privilege of early bird discount, or because I can finish the errands that can be done early. It is a psychological state that makes you think that things that are actually contradictory are correct. This is cognitive dissonance.Next is habituation. This is repeated over and over again so that the body remembers. For example, brushing your teeth or washing your face. The habit of going to the bathroom without thinking about it when you wake up in the morning.Don't think about it with your head. It's easy, but once it becomes a habit, it's hard to get out of it, so I can't recommend it for habits that aren't very good for you (for example, eating ramen in the middle of the night or using your smartphone before going to bed.)

That's the new year's day on the internet.

Seasonal events are getting faster and faster.

Isn't the seasonal sales heating up? Isn't the seller ignoring the surroundings? Wasn't it really more important to make osechi at home?

I honestly feel like that.

(As the world changes faster, some of the good old habits are disappearing, replaced by new ones, simplified, and only the good ones left. When I was a kid, I was pretty excited to see people making osechi at home, and going to my grandma's house to pick up osechi. I understand that, but now it's completely just something to eat. That's why I think there are various genres of osechi, such as Western-style and Chinese-style, that are just hors d'oeuvres.)

One of these days, I may be able to make a reservation properly before the New Year.

(As I mentioned earlier, this doesn't seem to be the case. However, rather than shortening the reservation period for New Year's Eve, I feel like there will be a campaign like "Let's eat New Year's Eve even in summer!". Japanese economy While it is predicted that the market will continue to slump, it would not be strange for some companies to aim for a one-shot reversal.)

That being said, it's a completely different story, and I'd like to try some gorgeous food at any time, even if it's not New Year's.

(A year ago, I myself said, “I want to eat anytime.” I think there are a certain number of people out there who have the same thoughts as I did a year ago, so I want to create a new generation. If people go out into society and start working, society's sense of values will change again, so maybe, maybe, maybe it's possible!?)

That's why today I've been thinking about and talking about "changes in culture and values that may occur in the future" in a column-like story.
