2.全文訳

だからそれは今まで存在し続け、またこれからも存在し続けるだろう。進化論は一元論的思考から導き出されるごく当たり前の推論である。そして、一元論の二元論の対立が終わるまで学問の場での論争は続くだろう。私自身、前者の社異臭的な勝利を信じているので、私は、進化論を最も影響力のある仮説の一つとみなしている。そして、それを受け入れることで、そして科学の文化が広がるのと同時に、進化論の勝利は近づくだろう。
