ゾンビについて書かれた論文を収集すべく、Googleスカラーのアラート機能を使っている。アラート設定ごとに、得られた論文を以下にまとめる。
アラートの条件は次の通り。
「zombie -firm -company -philosophical」（経済学・哲学のゾンビ論文避け）

「zombie」（zombieの単語が入っていればなんでも）
このうち、「zombie -firm -company -philosophical」の内容を主に紹介する。ただし、この検索キーワードできちんと経済学と哲学のゾンビ論文がよけられているか確認するために、差分を簡潔に紹介する。

ゾンビが現代社会、特に宗教が深く関わる社会においてどう受け止められているかを解析する本であるらしい。ゾンビだけでなく、ゾンビが蔓延った後に来たる黙示録についても。
ということは、この本に含まれる話は全てゾンビに関するものであると考えて間違いないだろう。一方、Googleアラートで送られてきたのは高々五章分である。アラートの一件目を確認すると、第一部の第四章。つまり第一部の三章分はアラートに引っかからず、スキップしてしまっている。おそらくまたcompanyが悪さしたのだろう。
ということで、アラートによりピックアップされた論文をチェックするのはアンフェアであるため、いつも通り本記事にまとめはするが、内容には立ち入らない。本当はこの本を読んで丸々レビューするくらいの気概が必要なのだが、今すぐは難しい。
ちなみに今まで流していたが、こういうテーマに沿った雑誌を各々が刊行する場合、中身は論文扱いしてよいのだろうか。私がいた分野では学会かその月刊誌、そして専門のジャーナルでしか研究成果を報告する場がなかったため、このようなオムニバス同人誌のスタイルにはなじみがない。特に文系の学問分野は、理系と異なりその分野を支配する統一された法則がない。つまり、好き勝手書いているだけなのでは？と毎回思っているのだ。まあ、専門のジャーナルも同人誌のようなものではあるが。
愚痴は以上。以下、アラートのチェックを行う。ただし、Faith and the Zombie: Critical Essays on the End of the World and Beyondのジャンルはすべて映画感想とする。

ちょっと興味を持ったので調べてみた。
これはFaith and the Zombie: Critical Essays on the End of the World and Beyondのいち章ではないため、少し内容をチェックする。
まず、zombieの単語は"zombie humanism"（ゾンビ人道主義/人本主義/人文主義/人類愛/人性）という文字列で現れる。zombie humanismはJack Halerstamがよく使う言葉らしい。以下のサイトが最も簡潔に説明していると思う。
In this talk, Halberstam argued against new versions of humanism that seek life at all costs, that seek to extend life, prolong life, invest in the good life, and that see death as the ultimate form of failure. Halberstam used the metaphor of the zombie to explore new dynamics between prolonged life for the wealthy and the diminished opportunities for longevity for everyone else. Our current matrix of extended life can be understood in terms of the bio-political but this is a ‘zombie biopolitics’ that creates new balancing acts between bio- and necro-political regimes. 単語が難しくて訳しきれない。死を徹底的に回避し、生きていさえいれば良いという考えを”ヒューマニズムの新しいバージョン”と定義し、それを否定するに至る発想（”裕福な人々の寿命の延長と、それ以外のすべての人の長寿の機会の減少との間の新しいダイナミクス”）を得て、生きるために生きることをゾンビとして表した。というところだろうか。
いや、違うと思う。わからない。そもそもヒューマニズムの意味もよくわからないし。
ということで、内容は不明だがゾンビ・ヒューマニズムに関連する論文らしい。これはヒットした論文としてカウントしておく。ジャンルは掲載誌より芸術学。

今回のようなアラートは扱いに困る。間違いなく、よく読めば異なる内容の論文（そもそも論文でいいのか？）なのだ。しかしいちいち読むわけにはいかないし、zombieの単語を探して内容を推測するにしても当たり前のように使われているので内容を絞りようがない。
また、zombie humanismにも困った。いくら調べても定義があいまいな気がするのだが、本当に学術的な単語として扱ってよいのだろうか。せっかく時間をかけてしらべたのでカウントに追加したが。
