This movie treats about sexual orientation and its struggle. The reason that his friends were apart from him was not his sexuality. That was self-protection by lying to friends. Therefore he hurt them and lost their trust.

It’s sometimes hard to accept differences of opinion. But in my eyes, everyone’s interested in other people too much. There’s no person who have completely the same thoughts with oneself. It’s natural. The common sense that I have is the lack of them for anyone, and vice versa. I hope people can live more freely unless they hurt anybody.

The line that I like is Simon’s mom said “you get to be more you than you have been,,,in a very long time”. It’s a tough situation for us to hold back our feelings, especially precious emotions.
I hope we can live in comfort and as we are.
